Band of Horses: (American Rock)

• Band of Horses is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Washington. The band is led by singer-songwriter Ben Bridwell, who is the only constant member. While originally formed in Seattle, the band is now based in Charleston, South Carolina.
• Their music is generally described as indie rock, alternative rock, Southern rock, power pop, and folk rock.
• The band has released six studio albums:
  • Everything All the Time (2006), featuring the hit single “The Funeral“
  • Cease to Begin (2007), their first album to chart on the Billboard 200

Old Crow Medicine Show: (Americana String Band/Folk)

• Old Crow Medicine Show is an American roots music band formed in 1998 in Nashville, Tennessee. They are known for their blend of folk, bluegrass, and old-time string band music.
• Key aspects of the band’s career include their discovery by Doc Watson while busking and their induction into the Grand Ole Opry in 2013. Their signature song, “Wagon Wheel,” co-written with Bob Dylan, has achieved double-platinum certification and is considered a top country single. They have won two Grammy Awards for “Remedy” and “Big Easy Express”. The band has influenced acts like Mumford & Sons and contributed to the revival of Americana music.
